Mary C (Russo) Gabl

Mary C. Gabl, age 81, of Canton went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2025. She was born on June 12, 1943 to the late Anthony and Adeline Russo. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961. She was employed for many years as a secretary and also an accounting assistant for several companies, and retired from Everhard Products. Mary loved the Lord and was one of the original members of St. Michael Catholic Church. She had a kind heart and a generous spirit and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Gabl; brothers, John, Leo, and Tony Russo, sister Faith (Larry) Wackerly; nephew, Dr. Gabriel Russo. She is survived by sister Angela (Michael) Chapanar, sister-in-law Esther Russo, several nieces and nephews including her special niece, Hope, and two God-daughters, Lisa and Casey, all of whom she loved very much.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 26 at 10AM at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Opkara as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mary will be missed.
