Mary E. Mulvane

Age 87, died Friday in her home following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Yant) Kress. She was a 1952 graduate of Mount Marie Academy, retired in 2007 from Canton City Schools as a lunch room manager working at Cedar School and was a member of Cathedral of Life Church. She is survived by her sons: James (Liz Dayton) Mulvane of Massillon, Donald (Dede) Mulvane of Canton; daughter: Linda (Greg) Hegal of Canton; sisters-in-law: Mary Lou (Les) Erb of Canton, Yvonne Kress of Bolivar; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband Raymond Mulvane who died in 1980; son: John Mulvane who died in 2006; great-grandson: Charlie Hegal who died in 2018; brothers: William Kress and Thomas Kress. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. M.D. Gammill officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. For those attending the family ask that you follow Covid 19 protocol.
