Michael J Smith

Michael J. Smith, age 54, of Canton, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on August 29, 2024.

Mike was a true outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He had a knack for fixing cars and was always working on some project or another, taking pride in figuring things out and building something from scratch.

He worked at Sprint as a manager for over 15 years, where his leadership and dedication made a real difference to his coworkers and the company.

Mike was predeceased by his father, William (known as Tom). He is survived by his five children: Christian (Brittany), Elizabeth (Kyle), William, Joshua, and Austin; his grandchildren; his mother, Margaret; his brother, Tom (Deb); his sister, Anne Miller (Ron); and his nieces and nephews.

In keeping with the family's wishes, a private viewing was held. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
