Michael D. Wilson

Age 81, of East Canton died Tuesday June 29, 2021. Born in Peoria, IL he was the son of the late George & Helen (Sickles) Wilson and lived in the Stark County area most of his life. He was a graduate of Louisville High School class of 1958, was employed by Superior Brand Meats and retired from Barnes Wallcovering. He was a committee member of the Boy Scouts of America, East Canton Troup #36 and enjoyed wood working.  He is survived by his wife Janice (Mong) Wilson of the home; son: Michael (Neva) Wilson; daughter: Michelle Bryant all of East Canton; brother: Rick (Kay) Wilson of Louisville; grandchildren: Michael T.R. (Emily) Wilson and Michaela Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Dora Snider. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. James and Elaine Painting co-officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening (tonight) from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
