Paul L. Demos

Age 84, died Tuesday following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Louis & Vera (Bizzari) Demos, was a 1956 graduate of Timken Vocational School and retired from Flanagan & Nist Paint Company. He was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church and the Canton Preservation Society. He is survived by his brother, Nicholas (Dolly) Demos of Annapolis, MD; nieces: Betsy (David) Hart, Stephanie Demos, Christine Demos, Marissa Demos; nephews: Christopher Bing, Barry Bing, Jason (Anne) Bing, Matthew (Misty) Bing, Alexis Demos; several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Demos and sister Catherine (Richard) Bing. A private funeral service will be held in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev Dr. Nichalos V. Gamvas officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Because of Paul’s love for animals donations may be made in his name to AlterClinic Animal Care at 2302 Fulton Road NW, Canton, OH 44709.
