Richard A. Colalella,
Age 76, of Canton, died Wednesday following an extended illness. He had lived in Steubenville most of his life before moving to Canton in 2018. A 1964 graduate of Steubenville High School, he retired as a drafter from the Jefferson County Court House working in the Map Department and was also a member of the Steubenville Moose. He is survived by his daughter: Cheryl (Jerry) Campbell: son: Thomas (Chara) Peterson all of Canton: grandchildren: Anthony Campbell, Thomas, Anna Marie, Rebekah Peterson; former wife: Barbara (Roger) Pankratz; special cousins: Joan Lauttamus, Dr. Janet Brockwell, Donna (Tom) Fante, Tommy Fante; special friends: Jacqueline Jeffers, Joshua-Paul (Jennifer) Tully; Ann Marie and Riley Tully. He was preceded in death by his brother: Frank Colalella. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. A private service for the family will be held with Pastor M.D. Gammill officiating.
