Richard K. Brown,
Age 90, died Tuesday following a brief illness. Born in Racine, WI, he had lived in the Canton area most of his life. He was a graduate of Northwestern University. He worked for decades at the A.C. Eynon Co., and ultimately served as Executive Vice President. He also served as President of Eynon Brown Inc. until his retirement. In his later years, he enjoyed driving for Uber, and was always excited to meet and speak with interesting people. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church, the Rotary Club of Canton, and a former member of Brookside Country Club. He is survived by his wife: Perie (Papachristopoulos) Brown of the home; sons: Timothy (Catherine) Brown of New Albany, OH, Anthony “Tony” (Lisa) Brown of Canton; daughters: Rebecca Vitale of North Canton, Jennifer (Dave) Thomas of Canton; 26 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brown, and sister, Dorothy Dugas. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Mrs. Jane Fleischer, Director of Caring Ministries, officiating. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 1 to 2 pm in the funeral home. Dick always brought a smile to everyone he met with his kindness and caring demeanor.
