Age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday October 13, 2025, in his home. A life resident of East Canton he was the son of the late William & Isabelle (Smith) Glantzer. He was a 1949 graduate of East Canton High School, served in the U.S Army during the Korean War and retired in 1996 from the U.S. Post Office as a postal worker. He was an avid football and baseball fan. His survivors include his wife, Doris (Johnson) Glantzer; daughter, Dawn Horner; sons: Darren Glantzer, Dodd Glantzer; daughter-in-law, Karen Glantzer; son-in-law, Fred Horner; sister, Sally (Dan) Carson; grandchildren: Ryan Horner, Kara (Chuck) Markley; great-grandchildren: Ryder Horner, Kamryn Markley, Elise Horner and Alexia Markley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Glantzer and two sisters. A private funeral service will be held in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
