Rita L. Capone,
Age 66, of Canton, died Friday in OSU Hospital following a brief illness. A life resident of Canton she was the daughter of the late George & Eileen Eberhart. She was a 1973 graduate of Central Catholic High School, retired from Mercy Medical Center and was an avid cat lover. She is survived by her daughters: Amy (Chris) Butts of Millersport, OH., Sabrina (John) Silvestri of Baltimore, OH.; brother: Mike (Joanne) Eberhart of Ft. Myers, FL.; sisters: Paula (Randy) Yost of Canton, Mary (Dave) Johnson of Canton; grandchildren: Sadie (Preston) Keller, Jonah (Brooklyn) Butts, Isaac Butts, Eric (Hayley) Silvestri, Aryn Silvestri, Jaret Silvestri; great-grandchildren: Jayden Silvestri, Alaya Silvestri and longtime companion: Larry Dunlap of Canton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: JoEllen Eberhart and granddaughter: Gabrielle Butts. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Opkara as celebrant. A private burial for the family will be held in West Lawn Cemetery.
