Robert D. Bossart

Age 60 died Tuesday December 2, 2025, following a brief illness. A life resident of Stark County he was the son of the late Leonard & Phyllis (Doll) Bossart Sr and was of Catholic faith. He attended Stark County M.R.D.D. at Southgate, was active with Special Olympics and was a member of the Sounds of Silence Choir where he was proud to perform for President Clinton’s inauguration in 1992. Bob is survived by his brothers: Leonard (Charlotte) Bossart of North Canton, Kenneth (Holly) Bossart of Sparta, NJ, John (Debra) Bossart of Navarre, Donald (Laura) Bossart of Sun City, AZ, Paul (Anna) Bossart of Chicago, IL; sister, Marsha (Jack) Carr of Grove City, OH; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rhea (Vogt) Bossart who died in 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Paul Catholic Church, North Canton with Fr. Simon Mino as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
