Roberta J. Loar
Age 80, of Canton died Monday January 20, 2025, following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton, she had retired from Timken Mercy Medical Center. She is survived by her sons: Gerald Wilson Jr. and Timothy Wilson; daughters: Deborah (Dennis) Mitchell and Mary Dryden; brother, Frank (Jill) Ryder; sister, Dolly Kutz; 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, David “Fred” Loar; father, Frank Ryder; mother and stepfather: Bertha & Arthur Kinas Sr; brother, Arthur Kinas Jr; sisters: Brenda Whitehouse, Sherry Gilbert and grandson, Sgt. Nicholas A. Casey. Friends may call Saturday afternoon February 1, from 12 noon to 2:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home. A private burial for the family will be held in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
