Ronald P. Rose
Age 76, died Monday following an extended illness. Born in Dennison, Ohio he had lived in the Canton area most of his adult life. He was a graduate of Scio High School, Stark State Technical College, served in the Army Reserve and retired from Fresh Mark. Ron was a member of Dueber United Methodist Church, was active in many youth activities including Holly Hills Little League Baseball, enjoyed fishing and watching the Cleveland Indians. He is survived by his wife: Jean (Compher) Rose of the home; son: Randy (Laura) Rose of Louisville, KY; grandchildren: Nicholas Rose and Benjamin Rose. He was preceded in death by his son: Ronnie Rose who died in 2013; brothers: Jon Rose, Michael Rose; sisters: Katherine Truex and Cindy Grindstaff. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Gary A. Smith officiating. Burial with committal service will be Friday at 1:30 pm in Fairview Cemetery in Jewett, Ohio. Friends may call Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
