Russell F. Kramer
Age 87, died Sunday evening following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Otto and Mary (Diebel) Kramer. He was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Union Metal in Canton and from St. Peter Catholic Church following 35 years working as a custodian. Russ was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church where he served as a church usher and the St. Peter’s Holy Name Society/Men’s Club. He is survived by his wife: Linda (Toohey) Kramer of the home; step-daughters: Diana (Al) Brooks, Katrina Mann, Jennifer (Bart) Driver; brother-in-law: Charles Markoski; sister-in-law: Jean Kramer; nephews: Tim (Trang) Kramer, Robert (Gale) Kramer, Mike Markoski, John (Kathy) Markoski; step-grandchildren: Rachel, Brian, Anthony, Mark, Alicia and Bethany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Donald Kramer; sister: Betty Markoski; and step-daughter Teresa Mann. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday at 10:30 in St. Peter Catholic Church with the Very Reverend John E. Sheridan STL as celebrant. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio. The Wackerly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
