Sandra K. Clark, 75, passed away peacefully in her Massillon, OH home, on September 8, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving and supportive family after a courageous year-long battle with cholangiocarcinoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth W. Clark Sr., her mother and father, Beverly (Murray) and Frank Vodopich, and her sister Teresa Vodopich. She is survived by her four children: Tina Clark of Tacoma, WA, Tammy (Mike) Stevenson of Malvern, OH, Kenneth W. Clark Jr. of Massillon, OH, and Kevin (Angie) Clark of North Canton, OH, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Vodopich) and Alex Pachmayer of Casselberry, FL.
Born on November 27, 1949, in Canton, OH, Sandy(as she liked to be called) graduated from Timken High School, and spent most of her life in the community she loved. She took great pride in her work and was employed as an online monitor at Meyers driving school. Her kindness, patience, and dedication will be dearly missed by both her students and colleagues.
Sandy was a self-proclaimed do-it-yourselfer. She was a familiar face at Home Depot, so much so, that employees knew her by her first name. She loved home projects and remodeling and spent most of the last thirty years doing so. At the age of 74, she renovated the entire inside of a neglected house, transforming it into a warm and welcoming home. Sandy also had a love for baking and her kitchen was always filled with brownies and cookies, ready for anyone who came by – because with Sandy, the door was always open.
Sandy was known as the heart of the family. She was the matriarch, the nurturer, and an unwavering source of support. Her kindness extended to everyone who entered her home, where she made each person feel truly loved and welcome. She was also known for going above and beyond for all those in her life. Treasuring every moment spent with her family, Sandy loved and adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will undoubtedly miss all of her hugs and kisses.
Per Sandy’s wishes, no public services will be held. A private celebration of life for immediate family members has taken place at the family’s home. Burial has taken place in Calvary Cemetery, Massillon.
