Sheila J. Horton

Age 73, died Tuesday June 10, 2025, following a brief illness. Born in Fall River, MA, she lived in the Stark County area for the last 36 years. She enjoyed babysitting for her friends’ children, cooking, bird watching and had a special love for light houses.  Sheila is survived by her husband, Allen Horton; sons: Edward (Shannon) Horton of Carleton, MI, Steven (Jessica) Horton of Warren, OH; daughter, Susan (Richard) Horning of Canton; step-father, Daniel LaChance of Somerset, MA; brother, Edward Moriera of Dartmouth, MA; sisters: Carol (Jack) Perry of Haverhill, MA, Kathy (Richard) Messier of Swansea, MA; brother-in-law, Mark Messier grandchildren: Tristan, Alex, Tyler, Justin, Katelyn, Delaney; great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Lincoln and Apollo. She was preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Messier. Friends may call Friday June 20. 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home.
