Sherry A. Sanborn, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, following a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Gilberta (Rousseau) Mallcheck. Sherry was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and retired from Advantage Marketing. She will be remembered for her gentle kindness, generous heart, and deep love for animals and family. Sherry had a special gift for caring for others and always put the needs of those she loved first.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jennifer Sanborn of Columbus and Jacqueline (Jon) Sanborn of Columbus; her cherished grandson, River Hobbs; and her sister, Nancy Matheson of Canton. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, including Rachael Dilley, Michelle Polis, Barry Allison, and Steven Louis, whom she lovingly cared for after the loss of their mother.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Gary Roberts; her brothers, George, Robert, and Richard Mallcheck; and her sister, Germaine Louis.
A Mass of Christian of Burial will be held Friday, January 2nd, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in St. Anthony Church, Canton, with Father Kevin Peters as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
