Teresa A. Schwing
Age 93, of Canton died Sunday following an extended illness. A life resident of the Canton area, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Cecelia (Aman) Ehret. She was a graduate of Canton Township High School and had various careers working at Hannon Electric, J.C. Penny and Baker Sumser Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Catholic Parish, St. Benedict Altar Rosary Society and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her son: Francis (Cathy) Schwing of Canton; daughters: Linda (Vince) Notareschi of Stillwater, OK, Elaine of Canton, Laurel Kunkel of Canton; sisters-in-law: Rose Ehret, Millie Ehret; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Schwing who died in 2005; brothers: Bernard Ehret, Leo Ehret; sisters: Sr Celise (Rita) Ehret O.S.F., Ann LaFore and daughter-in-law: Sharie Schwing. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. James P. Lang as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
