Age 70, of Canton died Wednesday October 13, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Steubenville, he was the son of the late Jay & Nilah (Walker) Ankrom and lived in the Canton area most of his adult life. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School, retired from the Timken Company and enjoyed reading, gardening and traveling to Europe. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Eynon Brown) Ankrom of the home; sons: Zachariah (Krista) Ankrom of St. Charles, MO., Jonah Ankrom of Akron; step-sons: Timothy (Catherine) Brown of New Albany, OH, Anthony (Lisa) Brown of Canton; step-daughters: Rebecca Vitale of North Canton, Jennifer (David) Thomas of Canton; sister: Karan Princic of North Canton; 2 grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Wallace officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
