Thomas A. Hever

Age 79, died Sunday following an extended illness. A life resident of Canton he was the son of the late Alexander and Katherine (Knapp) Hever. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School class of 1961, Walsh College class of 1965 and retired from Stark State College as a professor. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, loved gardening, fishing and reading. He is survived by his wife: Linda (Meister) Hever of the home; daughters: Monica (Ronald) Cole of Malvern, Theresa (Anthony) Graziano of New Albany, OH; brothers: Mark Hever of Canton, John (Lisa) Hever of Texarkana, TX; sister: Barbara (Henry) Kuska of Canton; grandchildren: Rachel Cole, Ryan Cole and Alyssa Graziano. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Rosemary Kohler. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Peter Catholic Church with the Very Reverend John E. Sheridan STA as celebrant. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
