Zelda R. Sellers

Age 101, died Friday following a brief illness. Born in Canton she grew up in Waynesburg before returning to Canton in 1960. She worked at the Timken Company, then retired from Timken Mercy Medical Center and was an Avon Cosmetics sales representative. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Peter Altar & Rosary Society and a former member of St. James Catholic Church and St. James Altar & Rosary Society in Waynesburg.  Zelda is survived by her sons: Roger Sellers; Bradley (Heidi) Sellers all of Canton; daughter: Christine (Tom) Ayers of Sheffield Lake, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband: James Sellers who died 1985; daughter: Janice Sellers; brothers: Frank English, Albert English; sisters: Lucy Wendel, Mary Yant and Hazel Yeager. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 10:30 am in St. Peter Catholic Church with the Very Reverend John E. Sheridan STL as celebrant. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
