Harold R. Jack Jr.

age 81, of Canton died Sunday April 24, 2016 in the Legends Care Center, Massillon following an extended illness. Born in Canton he was the son of the late Harold and Daisy (Fulk) Jack Sr. He was a 1955 graduate of McKinley High School, attended Walsh & Malone Colleges, served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He was owner/operator of the former Earl B. Jack Funeral Home in Canton, a member of First Christian Church, the Canton Lions Club, the Canton Moose Club, a founding member of the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club, the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter: June Miller. He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth  Jack of the home; daughters: Jacqueline Altland of State College, PA, Judith Jack and her husband Richard Dragin of Ft Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren: David, Kimberly, and Kellie. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home with Minister Jeffrey E. Bullock officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm in the Wackerly Funeral Home.
