My condolences to all of the Oberster Family.
I will never forget Uncle Butch and the Notre Dam football trips with him and his Brother John.
I was not able to attend due to illness (the flu) but will always have a place in my heart for him and many prayers too.

Bill worked with Art at Firestone Research for many years. They were both Notre Dame grads, so also had that connection in common.
Also, Art and Vera attended a couple of summer Gordon Conferences in New Hampshire and Vera and Anne socialized with the other wives while the scientists were having their meetings.
Also,, when we came to Akron in the spring of 1964, Art and Vera invited us to a summer picnic at ttheir home in Canton. We remember many little children running around!

Loved sining with you. This selection keeps running through my head. When we woulkd sing it, I often wondered if you were thinking of your Vera.
With someone like you, whose heart is good and true,
I'd like to leave it all behind and go and find
a place that's know to God alone
Just a spot to call our own
We'll find a perfect peace where joys will never cease
Somewhere beneath the starry sky.
